To Face the World of Work, the Electrical Engineering Study Program Holds Practical Teaching

The Nusa Putra University (NPU) Electrical Engineering Study Program held a Teaching Practitioner event to prepare students for the industrial world. This activity is a Public Lecture activity with the theme “Power Generation Systems and the World of Work in Power Generation Companies”. On Tuesday (18/10/2022) which took place at the Nusa Putra University (NPU) Auditorium and was attended by Electrical Engineering Students and was also open to the public.

This Public Lecture activity was very interesting because it presented Mr. Ir. Andi Iriyanto, S.T., M.T., IPM., ACPE., ASEAN Eng. As the resource person. He is one of the well-known practitioners in this field. This event is the result of collaboration between the Electrical Engineering Study Program and PT Cogindo Daya.

Aryo De Wibowo M.S, S.T., M.T. as Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program said that the aim of holding this activity was a form of Link and Match between Universities and Industry as well as fulfilling the target of the Study Program to present teaching practitioners in it. He also said he hoped that with this event students could gain experience from direct practitioners.

According to Ir. Andi Iriyanto, S.T., M.T., IPM., ACPE., ASEAN Eng as resource person “The enthusiasm of these female students is very enthusiastic, because what is being conveyed is the correlation between the world of education and the world of work, especially generation,” he said.

“Of course, hopefully by holding this event, the knowledge gained will be used in the future. “Hopefully this event will not only be held once, because the knowledge conveyed is very useful,” said Muhamad Raihan Usman as a participant in the event.
