Description:

The Introduction to Electrical Engineering Materials course consists of topics on the basic properties of a material, its structure and physics related to materials science in the application of electrical engineering. Material science concepts related to electrical engineering that are taught include: Structure of microscopic properties of solids, liquids, and gases; Electrical properties, thermal properties, conductivity, physical properties, chemical properties and mechanical properties of conducting materials, superconductors and semiconductors, magnetic materials, and insulating materials (gas, liquid, solid); optical fiber; Physical and optical properties of optical fiber; Direct energy conversion materials (photovoltaic, thermo-electric, electro-chemical); Application of electrical engineering materials (electron properties).
